We couldn't be happier with Paisano and Lily's first foal. He is a fancy boy with a great temperament. Cirro is Spanish for cirrus, those whispy clouds high in the sky, like his markings...

He has a blaze face and 4 high white stockings and a white belly plus various roany spots. It looks like he is gaited. He does a lateral gait on the way up to a canter and also has a lovely trot as well.

Vinnie is spending some time growing up at the Cayuse Ranch right now. If he isn't sold first, he'll come in in a year or so for more training.

June 19, 2007 - We turned Vinnie out with the bachelor herd at the Cayuse. See the video on youtube.

January 11, 2007 - Vinnie went out on his first trail ride at Elijah Bristow State Park. I didn't get any photos, but here is one of him practicing standing tied at the trailer. See my News and Musings page for a full report. He did fabulously. He loads into the trailer better than Lily does. He hasn't quite figured out that he doesn't have to jump out though. ;)
